BUMC Helping Hurricane Sandy Victims

The Brandon Untied Methodist Church is accepting cash donations for Sandy Hurricane relief.
We are supporting those affected by this terrible storm, both with our prayers and with our financial help.  Your contributions are greatly appreciated.

“Hurricane Sandy, which severely affected portions of the Caribbean and the eastern United States in late October 2012, was the largest Atlantic hurricane on record. In the US, Hurricane Sandy affected at least 24 states with gale-force winds, flooding, heavy rain, and even snow. In the Caribbean-Cuba, Haiti, Puerto Rico, the Bahamas, and Jamaica-Hurricane Sandy is known to have killed 65 people. In the US, at least 90 deaths have been reported. Hurricane Sandy destroyed homes, produced billions of dollars in damage, and left millions of people in the dark.” Your contribution will help us respond to the needs of those who are so desperately in need of assistance.”
