Calendar Of Events – Fall/Winter 2012

All of our programs and activities are open to the public.  Please come and enjoy them with us.

  • November 5 –  (Sunday) at 10 AM Communion Service
    Plan and join us for a time of worship and great great christian fellowship here at Brandon United Methodist Church.
  • November 10 – (Saturday) at 5:30 PM Fellowship Night with a pot luck meal. Come and bring your favorite game and we will play it together. Also, bring a dish of food to share at our pot luck super portion of this Fellowship Night.
  • November 12 – (Sunday) at 10 AM Worship.
    Join us as we honor Veterans on this special weekend.
  • November 18  – (Sunday) at 10 AM Thanksgiving Sunday Worship and Pie Social.
    We will be praising God for His Goodness to us and observing stewardship pledged during our worship together.
    Following our worship we will have our “pie social”. Everyone is invited to come and share a piece of your favorite pie.
  • December 2 – (Sunday) at 10 AM Worship.
    First Week of Advent Sunday (Hope)
  • December 9 – (Sunday)  at 10 AM Worship.
    Second Week of Advent (Peace).
  • December 15 – (Saturday) at 5:30 PM. Annual Christmas Party.
    This night is open to all to share in the Joy of Christmas. Come and share in a night of fun and Christian fellowship.
    Bring a dish to share and enjoy a free super.
    We will have games, carols and a gift exchange. (Bring a $5.00 gift if you want to be a part of our gift exchange).
    Also, there will be a cookie exchange for those interested.
  • December 16 – (Sunday) at 10 AM
    Third Week of Advent (Joy).
  • December 23 – (Sunday) at 10 AM Christmas Worship.
    Fourth Week of Advent (Love).
    Come and and Worship the real meaning of Christmas, “Christ the Savior is Born”
  • December24 – (Monday) at 7 PM Annual Christmas Eve Candlelight Service Worship in music and candlelight. All are welcome to come and join us in this special time of reflection.
  • December 25 – “MERRY CHRISTMAS”!
  • December 30, New Years Worship Service, Happy New Years to All!
  • January 6, Epiphany Sunday Worship Service.
    A Christian festival, observed commemorating the manifestation of Christ to the gentiles in the persons of the Magi.

Special Project:
Our church is currently collecting non-perishable goods for the Brandon Food shelf to be distributed during the cold winter months. Thank You for Your Help.

A special “Thank You: to Carol Houle and Chere Jankoski for passing out over 200 Halloween bags to our Brandon youth. Thanks also to all who helped in this special project.
